The Artists' Open Studio Tour is a truly unique experience, an opportunity to visit with thirty-six area artists, who work in all kinds of mediums and styles.

The 2009 Tour has grown to twenty-three different locations in East Contra Costa County, from Pittsburg to Discovery Bay. Our studios will be open to the public for an inspiring weekend of visual splendor.

While many of us experience fine art by visiting art galleries and museums, we rarely have the chance to meet the artists and learn about their inspiration, what encourages them to begin a work of art.

The open studio tour is a free, self-guided art discovery tour. Whether you're an avid collector or just curious about fine art, this is an incredible opportunity for you to meet East Contra Costa painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramic artists, jewelry makers, glass artists, fiber artists, and other fine craftspeople.
